A 35-year-old man and his 4-year-old child are dead after a two-vehicle crash in Nueces County Jan. 15.
At 9:44 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety was notified of a crash at the intersection of County Road 77 and County Road 36, the agency said in a news release sent by Sgt. Rob Mallory.
The news release said that a 2019 Ford Ranger was traveling west on County Road 36 as it approached the intersection. At the same time, a 2005 Buick Rendezvous driven by Randy Rubio was traveling south on County Road 77. Rubio’s three children, who were 4, 5 and 12 years old, were also in the vehicle…
