JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — In Harvey, Muriel Butler with Suds N Tubs Laundry is frustrated, knowing that when the sun goes down, many of the lights in the neighborhood won’t be on to protect her.
“I leave work at night in the parking lot. It’s pitch dark and I think it’s horrible what they doin’,” Butler said.
