Freeze warning now issued for San Antonio. Here’s the latest.

A freeze warning has been issued for San Antonio, the National Weather Service announced Saturday morning. It will go into effect overnight at 2 a.m. Sunday and last through 9 a.m.

The entire metro area is under the freeze warning, which includes San Antonio, Alamo Heights, Leon Valley, Castle Hills, Helotes, Hollywood Park, Live Oak, Universal City, Converse, and Lackland Air Force Base.
