COTTONWOOD, Ariz. — A Surprise resident was taken into custody following a police chase involving a stolen car, officials said.

The Cottonwood Police Department said the agency was alerted shortly before noon on Jan. 15 about a truck reported stolen out of Pinal County that was seen in the community. Officers attempted to stop the driver, and the truck fled at a high rate of speed…
