2 positive rabies cases in raccoons confirmed in Niagara County

The Niagara County Department of Health has confirmed two positive rabies cases in raccoons.

The department says the first confirmed case took place on Jan. 8 on Shawnee Road in the town of Cambria. It says the case involved two dogs encountering a raccoon. The department says there was one human with possible secondary contact.
