Daemen Kicks off Northeast Classic with Two Wins

NEW CASTLE, Del. — The Daemen women’s bowling team kicked off the Northeast Classic with two wins on Friday. The first day of the tournament featured five rounds of Baker Format matches.

The Wildcats began the tournament by falling 980-783 to #23 nationally ranked and ECC foe Kutztown before bouncing back with a 785-718 victory over Howard.

Daemen then lost back-to-back contests against ranked opponents, falling 954-844 to #24 Delaware State, before dropping a close 833-802 decision to #9 Mount St. Mary’s…
