As a strong cold front approaches the Lowcountry tonight, expect increasing cloud cover with a few spotty showers this evening.

A First Alert Weather Day is in effect for Sunday morning and afternoon ahead of a potential wintry mix for our inland counties. As colder air pours into the Lowcountry on Sunday, enough moisture will remain in place to allow for a brief transition to a wintry mix or light snow showers. Based on the latest forecast models, inland areas have a better chance of seeing a rain/snow mix; coastal areas expect cold rain as temperatures look to remain in the 40s.
