FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Temperatures have been falling throughout the day on Saturday in anticipation of an arctic blast to start next week.
Sunday will be a cold day with a slightly better chance for snow. Morning temperatures will be around 10 degrees with a high of only 20. Feels like temperatures will range from about 0 degrees in the morning to 10 degrees in the afternoon. Snow showers are expected to arrive late Sunday night into Monday morning, looking to leave behind up to 1″ of snow. So, a few slick spots are possible during the Monday morning commute.
Take the weekend to prepare for the potentially dangerous cold air for the start of the week. Make sure pipes are protected, shovel away any snow you want gone, and put gas in your vehicle this weekend so you don’t have to worry about it on Monday and Tuesday.
