SATURDAY NIGHT: After a warmer and mostly dry Saturday afternoon, another weather system is expected to push into much of the area Saturday night through Sunday morning along with another cold blast of air.
Rain showers begin in the Upstate after midnight and through early Sunday morning while a chance for snow showers is possible in the foothills. A trace up to an inch of snow is expected for areas in the foothills. Low temperatures will be in the low 30s across the Upstate and low 20s in the mountains.
SUNDAY: By mid-Sunday morning, Western North Carolina will be sitting drier from any precipitation from the night before, but another round of rain and snow showers is possible in the Upstate through most of the morning. Expect a dusting of snow through most of the Upstate, with Greenwood, Laurens, and Union counties having a better chance for 1-2 inches of accumulation.
