LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro leaders are urging caution with donations after discovering dozens of unpermitted donation bins across the city, some of which officials said pose serious safety risks.
At first glance, the bins may appear legitimate, but city officials said many feature misspelled words, fake email addresses and no clear indication of where donated items are going.
