Warming up today; Cold rain Sunday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Temperatures this morning are in the 20s, we will quickly warm into the lower-60s by the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies will last us into the evening hours. We are not as cold overnight with temperatures only dipping into the upper-30s inland and lower-40s at the coast.

On Sunday a cold front will be just off shore, this will help develop low pressure across the southeast. This will bring in a cold rain for most of the area. Since the cold air is lagging behind the front, it will be very hard to get any wintry precipitation along and east of Interstate 95. Areas to the west of Interstate 95 will have a chance to see some snow mixing with the rain, and potentially ending as all snow as the system moves away. Regardless, chances of seeing…..
