NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was detained following a shooting that led to one person being transported to an area hospital following a shooting in Madison.

Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department responded to a shooting call in the 300 block of Myatt Drive around 5:28 p.m. Saturday. Metro Dispatch confirmed that one person was transported to Skyline Medical Center for treatment.
Officials on the scene told News 2 the victim was shot multiple times, though as of publication, their condition is unknown. Authorities added one person has been detained in connection with the shooting. As of publication, there is no ongoing threat to the community.
