BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said more charges are possible in connection with a case involving a former Capital Area Transportation System (CATS) chief administrative officer.
Former CAO of Baton Rouge’s bus system Pearlina Thomas, 55, was indicted on charges of criminal conspiracy, theft and malfeasance in office. Another person, Jarion “Jay” Colar, 35, faces charges of criminal conspiracy and theft.
“This is a continuing investigation. Additional charges may be filed against both the individuals who have been indicted and other individuals involved,” Murrill said…
