LSU is putting the finishing touches on its transfer portal class but the work doesn’t stop for the purple and gold with the 2026 roster rounding into form. As Lane Kiffin gets settled in the program, the focus will shift to the 2027 high school recruiting class, which is once again filled with some of the top talent the country has to offer.
This LSU defensive staff has been well equipped with recruiting in this state for years. It absolutely factored into why Kiffin pushed so hard to retain Blake Baker and the core defensive staff that includes Corey Raymond, Jake Olsen and Kevin Peoples, all of whom have experience recruiting in this state.
