LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — The search for Lafayette’s next fire chief is underway, with 14 candidates set to be interviewed by Lafayette Consolidated Government.
Among the candidates is Alton Trahan, a longtime fire investigator who has served the Lafayette Fire Department for more than 20 years.
