FLORISSANT, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A 9-year-old boy faces a six-to-eight-week recovery after being injured in a hit-and-run while crossing the street Sunday, but his Florissant family said they are relieved the situation wasn’t worse.
Kamrun Davis, who celebrated his 9th birthday just days before, was crossing at the intersection of Shackelford and Central Parkway when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, according to St. Louis County Police.
