Neighbors want to see change at Sandy intersection with ‘constant issues’

SANDY, Utah (KUTV) — Neighbors said they’ve had concerns for years about an intersection where a man was hit and killed by a car in Sandy.

But, police said the intersection at 1000 East and 11000 South isn’t considered unusually dangerous.

“It is a constant issue with accidents, speeding through, not making correct stops, not stopping altogether,” said Aja Steck, a Sandy resident.
