Touro University Nevada has appointed David Marlon, PsyD, MBA, CPC, LADC-S, PRSS-S, to its advisory board council. Dr. Marlon is Co-founder and CEO of Vegas Stronger, a nonprofit providing evidence-based care to reduce homelessness and addiction.
“Nevada consistently ranks among the lowest in mental health outcomes, making it essential to prioritize care for the whole person,” says Dr. Patricia Salkin, Provost and Chief Academic Officer. “Dr. Marlon’s support in mental health education will generate a positive health impact for Nevada.”
A 37-year Las Vegas healthcare veteran, Dr. Marlon is former President of the Southern Nevada Association of Addiction Professionals and received the 2018 National Advocacy Award from NAADAC.
