EWA BEACH, Hawaii (Island News) — Police seized six e-dirt bikes and issued 12 citations as a result of an e-bike and e-motorcycle operation in Ewa on Thursday.
As the Honolulu Police Department’s (HPD) e-bike and e-motorcycle enforcement continues in the Kapolei and Ewa areas, 12 citations were given on Thursday, Jan. 16. Those citations included driving without a license, vehicle registration and safety check offenses.
Following this operation, six e-dirt bikes that were illegally being driven on public roads were recovered.
HPD’s District 8 support units continue to conduct e-bike and e-motorcycle enforcement operations to address ongoing safety concerns in the Kapolei and Ewa areas…
