UNION TWP., Pa. (WKBN)- Around 3:15 p.m., a car collided with a train in Union Township on Covert Rd., according to the Union Township Fire Chief.
The driver had allegedly lost the brakes in the vehicle. When putting the vehicle in reverse, it stalled, staying in place and causing a collision with the train.
The vehicle has been totaled and the train itself has some minor damage that will be switched out to become operable again. The track will remain closed until repairs are made to the tracks, according to the fire chief…
