NORTH PORT — The North Port Art Center is eyeing influential supporters of the arts to help them get a new home.
The Art Center — a nonprofit that has existed since 1988, starting as the North Port Art Guild — had its home torn down in Oct. 2025. The venue at 5950 Sam Shapos Way, near Dallas White Park, housed the nonprofit since 2007.
