PORTAGE, MI — City leaders didn’t expect to see 99-year-old Betty Lee Ongley in Portage City Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
Sitting beside her three daughters, Ongley wiped tears away with a smile as former Portage City Councilmember Terry Urban read her accomplishments into the record.
