Kentucky man charged for secretly recording women in Groton bathroom, police say

A Kentucky man was arrested this week after police say they determined he had recorded women in the bathroom using a hidden camera.

City of Groton police charged Michael Sivils, 62, on Monday with voyeurism with malice, a felony. Judicial records indicate he is being held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in New London on Feb. 13.

Sivils, of Lawrenceburg, Ky., is also facing a misdemeanor voyeurism charge in Kentucky, and there is an ongoing investigation into alleged voyeurism in the state of Washington, according to police…
