A Coleman man was sentenced to 10 days in jail this week after being found guilty of driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Dominic Lamor Worthen, 30, was given his sentence and 12 months of probation after pleading no contest to driving while license suspended or revoked (second or subsequent offense) on Wednesday. He is currently serving his time at the Sumter County Detention Center.
Worthen received this charge on Nov. 28 when he was stopped in a silver Honda passenger car on County Road 44A in Wildwood. According to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, he had been speeding at 55mph in a 35-mph zone. He only had an ID card when pulled over, leading to his arrest…
