Police investigation finds Brown University shooting and MIT professor death linked

The suspect from the recent incident at Brown University has not only been found but also linked to a separate shooting involving the tragic death of a MIT professor.

Last weekend a shooting took place at Brown University during finals (Dec. 13th). The shooting left two students fatally shot and nine others severely wounded. The gunman was seen roaming campus neighborhoods hours before the tragedy happened, he was dressed in all black which caused troubles with identifying him. The lack of information on the suspect’s appearance lead to a five day manhunt.

Two days later, on December 15th, an MIT professor was fatally shot in his own home and died at the hospital. Professor Loureri was a respected scientist, not only on at MIT but also internationally. He was known for his work in plasma physics and fusion research…
