Parker’s Kitchen opens new prototype store, kicks off 50th anniversary

Parker’s Kitchen kicked off its 50th anniversary celebration Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the grand opening of its newest store in Port Wentworth, Georgia.

With 6,065 square feet of retail space, the company’s new store at 132 Highway 30 is the first “PK2” prototype, which the company said offers a larger store design with an angled food area, bigger beer cave and a deeper store footprint.

“We’re thrilled to kick off our 50th anniversary year in Port Wentworth and to host our first new store ribbon cutting of 2026 right here in Chatham County,” said Greg Parker, Parker’s Kitchen founder and executive chairman.

The retailer also said this is the first location to offer the company’s made-to-order beverage program in partnership with technology and beverage company Botrista, San Francisco, California…
