Auburn, N.Y. – Two men who troopers say assaulted officers at Auburn Correctional Facility have been arrested, State Police announced on Friday.
Errol Fowler-Graham, 34, and Shaquan Brown, 33, attacked officers on Aug. 21, 2024, troopers said in a news release. Multiple officers were injured and taken to the hospital with one person out of work for an extended period, they said.
On Tuesday, Fowler-Graham and Brown were arraigned in Cayuga County Court and charged with:
- Three counts of second-degree assault (injuring a person while confined to a correctional facility)
- Three counts of second-degree assault (intent to cause injury to an officer)
Brown was sentenced in New York City in 2020 to 18 to 21 years in prison for burglary, assault and grand larceny, according to state records…
