Salem Glassworks, a defunct major industrial property, was recently purchased by a real estate developer who plans to bring manufacturing back to the site.
Orlando Perdomo of Perdomo Worldwide purchased the more than 28-acre property and more than 500,000-square-foot warehouse at 83 Griffith St. in Salem, according to Max Spann of Max Spann Real Estate and Auction Company.
Perdomo posted on Facebook about the purchase, mentioning his interest in reviving manufacturing in Salem County.
“After roughly a year of looking at the opportunity to invest in South Jersey to bring back manufacturing as well as the opportunity for mixed-use residential developments, Perdomo Worldwide has entered into contract to purchase over 500,000 square feet of warehousing on this Salem site,” Perdomo posted…
