AUSTIN, Texas — Metal rails and loops have mysteriously popped up atop planter boxes in Downtown Austin, leading to questions about how they got there.
The planters with the installations are seen at the intersection of Brazos and East Sixth Street, however not all of the planters in the area have the metal rails and loops.
A spokesperson for the city of Austin said the city did not install the features and that no permit was issued…
