BOULDER, Colo. – The Colorado State University Pueblo Track and Field teams opened competition on Friday at the Potts Invitational, hosted inside the Ford Indoor Facility on the campus of the University of Colorado, as the ThunderWolves took part in a full slate of throwing events on Day One of the two-day meet.
The Pack was led by a strong showing from the women’s throwing group, highlighted by senior Febe Wessels, who delivered one of the top performances of the day. Wessels finished second overall in the women’s shot put with a mark of 15.41 meters (50-6¾), competing against a deep field that featured Division I and RMAC athletes. She also competed in the women’s weight throw, where she recorded a mark of 14.69 meters (48-2¼), adding another quality early-season result.
Keturah Templeman also represented the ThunderWolves in the women’s shot put, posting a best throw of 10.54 meters (34-7). Templeman gained valuable experience competing in a large field as the Pack continued to build depth in the throwing events…
