TACOMA, Wash. — One person was killed and two others were seriously injured after a stolen vehicle fled a traffic stop and crashed at high speed in Tacoma, according to authorities.
A Washington State Patrol trooper attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on southbound State Route 509 near Port of Tacoma Road. The vehicle fled and continued southbound on SR-509 before losing control and crashing near the intersection of 21st Street and Pacific Avenue.
