MEDINA, Ohio – A familiar face will return to Medina’s local government as council members voted unanimously to appoint former at-large Councilor Bill Lamb to fill the vacant Ward 4 council seat.
The seat was previously held by Jim Shields who was elected mayor in November.
The city received six applications from candidates looking to fill the seat including Donald Williams, Bruce Gold, Matthew Gregory, John Stanko, Lamb and Janice Jokkel.
