Clovis driver rolls over in Corvette

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was lucky to walk away from a crash after rolling over in a Corvette in Clovis Sunday afternoon, the Clovis Police Department announced.

Just after 4:40 p.m., police responded to an injury collision on Santa Ana Avenue, west of Sierra View Parkway, where they learned a man was pulled from a vehicle, awaiting an ambulance.

Officers reported the man was driving a Corvette westbound on Santa Ana Avenue, believed to be at a high rate of speed, when he collided with a tree and rolled over.

Police say the man sustained scrapes and bruises, but note the circumstances could have been much worse, especially with fog rolling in…
