Restaurant Week is over, but South Carolina diners and restaurants say its impact isn’t

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Plates may be cleared, and menus returned to normal, but the impact of Restaurant Week South Carolina is still being felt across the state.

The 11-day culinary celebration recently wrapped up after showcasing some of the very best of South Carolina’s food scene. Hungry customers in Columbia said the annual event gave them a reason to try new restaurants while supporting local businesses.
