Longtime Old Friends’ resident Padua’s Pride (IRE) has passed away at the age of 29, the Georgetown, Ky. retirement facility announced Saturday on X.
Padua’s Pride had been on the farm since 2018 and was an original resident of its Ashton Grove facility in Georgetown. He leaves behind longtime companions Palmer’s Approach and Riversrunrylee.
Owned by Satish Sanan’s Padua Stables and trained by Jerry Hollendorfer, the son of Caerleon made 16 career starts, recording two wins and one second-place finish while earning $62,200. He was bred in Ireland by Barronstown Stud and Orpendale and was produced by the Master Derby mare Doff the Derby…
