An Ocala nurse has had her license temporarily suspended by the state following her arrest in July for allegedly pointing a loaded gun at her boyfriend and threatening to shoot him in the head.
Florida State Surgeon General Joseph A. Ladapo signed the order on Thursday, Jan. 15, immediately suspending the license of Sarah Ranae Helman. The Florida Department of Health stated that it is mandated by state statute to summarily suspend the license of any health care practitioner arrested for committing an act that constitutes a violation of false imprisonment.
