Tallahassee, FL – A hard freeze warning is in effect for much of inland North Florida tonight as temperatures are expected to dip into the lower 20s, according to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee. The alert covers areas across the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend, with a cold weather advisory also issued for parts of southeast Alabama and southwest Georgia.

Forecasters say the coldest temperatures will occur late tonight through early Monday morning, with lows between 22°F and 25°F. Wind chills could make it feel even colder, between 20°F and 25°F in many inland areas. Officials urge residents to protect the “4 P’s” — people, pets, plants, and pipes — and to dress in layers if heading outdoors overnight…
