ATLANTA. GA — An internal investigation at the Fulton County Jail has resulted in the arrest of a contract nurse accused of violating jail policies by engaging in an inappropriate relationship with an inmate and introducing contraband into the facility.
Naomi Anthony, who worked as a nurse contractor at the jail, was arrested Wednesday as she arrived for work. The investigation began after jail officials discovered information suggesting misconduct involving Anthony and an inmate housed at the facility.
According to authorities, a handwritten note found by another staff member detailed allegations of contraband smuggling and an inappropriate relationship between Anthony and an inmate.
