Austin drug bust: Cash, narcotics seized by law enforcement

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Several different types of drugs and narcotics were found following an investigation into the distribution of illicit narcotics.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) said it worked with the Austin Police Department to execute a search warrant Wednesday in the 6000 block of Derby Downs Drive.

As a result of the search warrant, WCSO said detectives seized:

  • Cocaine – 1002.9g
  • Crack Cocaine – 17.1g
  • Fentanyl – 211.9g
  • Heroin – 532g
  • Methamphetamine – 592.6g
  • Alprazolam – 17.2g (66 Pills)
  • Psilocybin – 29.4g
  • Promethazine – 430.5g
  • Marijuana – 1.3lbs
  • Cash – $17,285

WCSO identified 35-year-old Paul Torres Jr. as a suspect in the investigation, which remained ongoing as of Sunday. Torres was accused of being involved in the manufacturing and delivery of illicit narcotics, including fentanyl, throughout Williamson County and surrounding areas…
