ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexicans will soon have a first-of-its-kind memorial honoring the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Honor Heindl is one of the six artists whose art will line the New Mexico COVID-19 Memorial’s pilgrimage path. “My design speaks to the longing for reconnection with those who have died and those still living,” exclaimed Heindl.
