GREENSBORO, N.C. — Update: The Buddhist monks are addressing the crowd at Truist Point ballpark in High Point, sharing stories of their ‘Walk for Peace’ journey.
Buddhist monks participating in the nationwide Walk for Peace will arrive in High Point, followed by Greensboro on Monday, Jan. 19.
The monks are scheduled to visit Truist Point Stadium in High Point from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., before continuing their journey to Greensboro, where they will rest overnight at the Grandover Resort with visiting hours from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Both events are open to the public…
