‘Local rapper’ arrested for assisting with alleged dog theft in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested over the weekend for his alleged connection to a dog theft in the Cayce Homes neighborhood in early January.

According to an arrest affidavit, officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to 604 South 5th Street a little after noon on Tuesday, January 6.

The officers spoke with a woman who said three men pulled up to her in a black Nissan Altima while she was outside with her dog. She told the officers that the men exited the car, and one showed a handgun to her and said, “Don’t make no moves. Where you get that dog? That’s my dog. Give me my dog,” according to the affidavit…
