This Secluded Treehouse Rental in Alabama Feels Like a Secret Getaway

Treehouses are magical places that marry a sense of escape with adventure. They’re perfect little hideaways tucked into the great outdoors. As a child, I dreamed of having a backyard treehouse; it would be a place to get away from my busy family and store my treasured knick-knacks. Lucky for us, treehouses aren’t just for children. There are real-life treehouses made for grown-up adventures. We’ve found a unique and luxurious treehouse Airbnb in northwestern Alabama.

Elora’s Cabin is nestled into the trees on the banks of the Sipsey River in Winston County and is the perfect Airbnb getaway for two. A stay in Elora’s Cabin combines the best aspects of a natural escape and a luxury vacation. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin has hot water, a washer and dryer, heat, air conditioning, a television, a record player, and Wi-Fi. The king-sized bed is decked out in cozy linens and plush bedding, and a large ceiling fan overhead is perfect for those who sleep best with good air circulation.

The cabin has a beautiful kitchen with a microwave, pots and pans, stove, mini fridge, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen also has a compact dining space for two, which faces one of the cabin’s expansive windows. I’d love to eat breakfast here while looking out at the trees.

There’s nothing tiny about the Airbnb’s opulent bathroom. It has both a large walk-in shower and a deep bathtub. The host provides shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Wouldn’t it be nice to soak in the tub with a good book?

Guests of Elora’s Cabin can choose from many things to do. If they prefer to stay around the Airbnb, they can walk down to the cabin’s dock on the Sipsey River. It’s a great place to fish, with two lounge chairs and fantastic water views. The cabin also has a firepit and a beautiful balcony, perfect for peaceful relaxation outdoors.

Bankhead National Forest is another wonderful place to fish and hike near the cabin. The forest’s incredible hikes include the Caney Creek Falls Trail and the Sipsey River Trail. Natural Bridge Park is a hidden gem in the area. It gets its name from a massive 148-foot-long sandstone and ore bridge!

Double Springs is a small town near Elora’s Cabin with about 1,500 residents. It has several excellent restaurants, like Sapore Grill, which serves Italian food, and Smokin’ Pig BBQ, which serves BBQ, ribs, smoked chicken, and more. Sipsey Vineyard and Winery has a tasting room in Double Springs, where visitors can try quality wines and ciders.
