Amarillo, TX – Drivers across Northern Texas and parts of the Oklahoma Panhandle are being advised to remain cautious this morning as a very light band of snow continues to move south out of Kansas.

According to the National Weather Service in Amarillo, the narrow snow band was observed around 9 a.m. CST on Monday, January 19, and is expected to affect areas including Northern Texas and Beaver County in the Oklahoma Panhandle. While widespread accumulation is not expected, forecasters say a light dusting of snow — generally under 0.5 inches — cannot be ruled out before the system dissipates later this morning…
