MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — Deputies from the Montgomery County Constable Precinct 4 Office have arrested Brian Hawk and Kenneth Burns in connection with the theft of copper wire and possession of narcotics. The arrests followed a surveillance operation after the suspects allegedly fled the Kingwood area toward Porter.
The deputies discovered the stolen copper wire had been dumped and monitored the location. When Hawk and Burns returned to retrieve the wire, they were detained and subsequently confessed to the theft, according to the Montgomery County Constable Precinct 4 Office.
