CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Car crashes that result in serious injuries and deaths have been on the rise in Charlotte in recent years, according to data recently published in the city’s annual Vision Zero Report.
While the amount of overall car crashes decreased in Charlotte in 2025, there was an increase in the number of crashes that caused death or serious injury. The number of those deadly or serious crashes also grew between 2023 and 2024.
