Franklin County property tax reevaluation underway: what to know

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – As part of the process that determines how much homeowners pay in property taxes, the Franklin County auditor has launched a website explaining the property value update that’s underway in 2026 ahead of residents receiving new assessments in June.

The Know Your Home Value website is a “one-stop shop” for understanding the state-required property value update that occurs every three years between full reappraisals, the auditor’s office said in a news release.

“Your Franklin County Auditor’s Office wants to make the state-required triennial property value update easy to understand and to ensure owners have a voice in the process,” Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano said.
