Makhi Frazier becomes latest acquisition following successful visit

Ole Miss continues to bolster its offensive backfield, as Michigan State transfer running back Makhi Frazier went public with his commitment Sunday morning. Frazier was on a visit in Oxford throughout Saturday.

The 5-foot-10, 220-pound back becomes the 26th member of the Rebels’ transfer class, as well as the third running back acquisition of the offseason. Ole Miss also brought in LSU’s JT Lindsey and Southern Utah’s Joshua Dye via the portal.

In two seasons (15 games) with the Spartans he totaled 541 rushing yards and two scores in 123 carries (4.4 YPC). Frazier saw his most action as a sophomore this season, establishing a real role for himself while running for 520 yards and the only two scores of his career…
