Roselle Park firefighters battle two-alarm blaze on Willow Avenue

ROSELLE PARK, N.J. – Firefighters in Roselle Park brought a two-alarm structure fire under control Friday afternoon after flames tore through a home on the 500 block of Willow Avenue.

The Roselle Park Fire Department was dispatched to the scene after reports of a structure fire with heavy smoke. On arrival, crews found fire venting from windows on the CD corner of the building’s second floor. Firefighters immediately began suppression efforts and conducted searches in the affected area to ensure no occupants were trapped.

The blaze was upgraded to a second alarm as additional resources were called in. Mutual aid departments responded both to assist at the scene and to cover the borough for any additional emergencies…
