The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles will hold a public hearing Wednesday to gather input on proposed changes to vehicle registration identification requirements, following concerns raised by Dean Sen. Judith Zaffirini of Laredo and local tax officials.
The hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. at the TxDMV headquarters in Austin and will focus on proposed amendments to Chapter 217 of the Texas Administrative Code, which governs vehicle titles and registration.
